LANCE T. LEE, MD

I am a Primary Care General Practitioner because I wanted to devote my career to helping people in preventing disease and gaining a better understanding of how our health changes over time. The direct patient contact in the clinic setting is my favorite way to communicate since it limits the outside distractions of life and both the doctor and the patient can focus on the discussion at hand. I started my training in Dayton, Ohio pursuing an MD and PhD in Biology and Genetics simultaneously, but I found I much preferred direct patient contact over performing lab experiments in solitary. I switched my focus to primary care in rural communities and attended my medical residency in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I have since devoted my efforts to rural communities in Lakeview Oregon, Oroville California, and now Chico and Corning, California. My wife and I live in Chico, love to play Pickleball, and are “foodies”.
